MANILA, Philippines – The provincial government and Department of Education on Sunday decided to call off classes in some areas due to bad weather that Tropical Storm Carina may cause.
Civil Defense Officer-Region 2 Ronald Villa announced class suspension for elementary and high school levels in Isabela while Governor Manuel Mamba said there is class cancelation in all levels of both public and private schools.
The announcement was made ahead of Carina’s landfall. The tropical storm is poised to threaten the province of Cagayan.
